FALL BANQUET UPDATE

Well, another Fall Banquet has come and gone. Huge thanks to Gail Amaral and Rudy and Karen Sawyer.
Rudy and Karen were great hosts for the evening. (Gail, we missed you, we hope your recovery is going well).
The raffle table looked great and the "beach baskets" were a hit. Great job by beach reps and courtesy patrol.
I must say that due to the meeting, the dinner, the raffles and the auction, there was no time for dancing. I
actually found it to be quite a relaxing, social evening.

The meeting went a little long due to the elections but in the end, all went well.
Thanks to Erik Bumpus for chairing the nominating committee. His job was a little challenging but he survived.

2009 presents lots of challenges including access issues, the fishing registry and the economy.
Member participation is vital. With the projects and Spring Meet right around the corner, hopefully we will see
lots of new faces. If you are a new member and not familiar with these events. contact any officer for
information.
